The Role of Client Education in Our Treatment Program

We strive to offer many kinds of educational opportunities for our clients, based on the belief that each client must take responsibility for their healing process and health. We find that clients who have a better understanding of their body heal faster and incorporate the changes long-term. (Please see Healing and Inspiration).

Often, the most valuable aspect of our treatment programs is the education each client receives about their body, as to how highly interconnected and integrated it is. We welcome all kinds of questions, especially the "dumb ones" that all of us have but are afraid to ask. Often our clients wish they had known more about their body and its function, because they could have acted sooner to correct or aleviate their problems.

"Sometimes it can be as simple as restoring hope through education and awareness of the underlying mechanical problem."

Digital Anatomy Visual Aids. Each treatment room has wall-mounted computer screens to display detailed anatomy views, animated functional models of specific muscle/bone movements, and client photo documentation of their treatment program.

Client Handouts. We offer Client Education Handouts to help explain the Structural Medicine approach, including client diary forms to track changes between sessions.

Educational Web Site. Our web site is dedicated to education, providing a variety of links to information about Structural Medicine, our studio, alternative health options, and technical information.
